SCIENCE PARK FOR KODAGU-RAMACHANDRA GOWDA ANNOUNCED

Science park will be established in Kodagu.6 acres of land is required for the project-disclosed Ramachandra gowda , the state science and technology and small savings and Kodagu District Incharge minister. He was addressing the press at Bhagamandala after he visited Thalacuavery piligrim centres where the renovation works are going on.

The KSTDC guest house at Madikeri is being renovated at the sanctioned cost of Rs. 96 lakhs. The Rajaseat garden will be improved by the Govt. and the tourism in Kodagu will get the priority-minister added.

The Malnad area will be provided Rs. 60 crores by the present Govt. instead of the previous sanctions of Rs. 14 crores. Already Rs. 10 crore has been released and Rs 2 crore is reserved for Kodagu development-Ramachandragowda explained. He “I have chosen Kodagu to become incharge minister because this district has provided Generals, soldiers to this Nation; I prefer this district and I will regularly visit Kodagu to follow up the developments-he explained. Stopping the illegal mining in Kodagu, improving the milk production from 1500 litres to the actual demand quantity of 30 thousand litres, reestablishing the Industrial Extension offices in thaluk levels- are the other intended goals-RamachandraGowda opined.

Mr. K.G.Bopaiah MLA and the BJP Office bearers Ravi Kushalappa, Sunil Subramani, Local body representatives Neelamma, Rajiv, Meenakshi, Kishor Kumar and others were present.

The Minister earlier attended the special Pooja performed at Thalacauvery and Bhagamandala by the District BJP leaders prating for the recovery of the National BJP leader Mr. Pramod Mahajan.l

MP, MINISTER HONOURED;

Member of the Parliament, Sadananda Gowda and district in charge minister Ramachandra Gowda, Mrs.Dotty sadananda Gowda were honoured at Somwarpet yesterday in a colorful function organized by taluk BJP.

The Zilla Panchayath president Ashok Kumar and Taluk Panchayath member Mamatha surprised the gathering by being present in BJP organized felicitation ceremony. Ashok Kumar won the seat in the election with the support of JDs and BJP. While Mamatha won through JDs.

Addressing the gathering after a procession in the town, Sadananda Gowda stated that the workers are the strength of BJP. Stating that the BJP coalition government is providing better administration, he ridiculed congress by stating that it is height of its stupidity to wait for the fall of state government.

Referring to the loss of one constituency to Kodagu, according to the de limitation recommendation, Sadananda Gowda said that he will see to it that the district retains the constituency.

State leader B.B.Shivappa felicitated Sadananda Gowda and Ramachandra Gowda. BJP district unit president S.G.Medappa, former MLA Appachu Ranjan and others were present during the function.

USHA TEJASWI AS PRESIDENT;

The BJP member Usha Tejaswi has been elected as the president of Somwarpet Town Panchayath.

Though the presidentship was in the hands of BJP only, changeover was made as per the agreement it had arrived to during the election.
