MP INAUGURATES CLUSTER CENTRE;

MP mr.sadananda Gowda inaugurated a cluster centre at Balele inear gonicoppal and said that the sports men should be encouraged.

Lauding that Kodagu has contributed its might in the sports field , mr.Gowda said that the centre has approved astro turf to Madikeri and the ground would be ready in two years.

MLA Mr.Basavaraju presided over the function. International hockey player Buttianda Chengappa, sports committee chairman Mr.P.K.Uthappa, mr.bose Devaiah and others were present.

SWEPT AWAY BY FLOODS;

A Native of Kodagu, mr.Siddiq died at Gulbarga swept away by floods. He died as the jeep he was driving was pulled sucked in by the flood from a bridge.

The incident occurred on Thursday.

The jeep had ten inmates including Siddiq during the accident. The reports said that seven people sitting at the back side jumped to safety. Two persons sitting at the front side are hospitalized, while Siddiq was drowned to death.

A native of Somwarper, Siddiq, 21 was working at gulbarga as a driver to an excise contractor.

BJP WALKS FROM BRICK BRICK AND RAM MANDIR TO CMs HOUSE;

The district incharge minister Mr.Alangur srinivas has lambasted the BJp which has plans to picke Chief Minister’s house at Bangalore tomorrow.

Addressing scribes here, the minister stated that BJP which was politicking with brick, pooja and ram Mandir is now walking towards CMs house due to lack of issues and not with an ideal

Reacting strongly to the allegation that the government has ignored the needs of the district, he said that it has released rupees five crores for the relief as a first installment and release the remaining amount after the monsoon. Supporting the delay in releasing the fund he said that no work can be taken up now due to rainfall.
