B.B.SHIVAPPA TO JOIN BJP ON 16TH;

Former leader of BJP,.B.B.Shivappa will join BJP in a function organized at Hassan.

In an exclusive interview at his house, Shivappa disclosed that stage is set for his return to the party and it will be held on this sixteenth ( tomorrow) at Hassan.

Stating that BJP is the only hope for the state at the present political scenario, he expressed his intension to strengthen the party.

Meanwhile Vijay Sankeshwar of JDs was also found discussing with B.B.Shivappa at the time of the interview at his residence. Shivappa hinted that Sankeshwar may also return to BJP and the discussions are on.

BOMB SCARE AT HARANGI?

The water resource minister Mallikarjun Kharge yesterday disclosed that the intelligence department has cautioned the government about possible bomb threat to water dams in the state including Harangi by LTTE.

Kharge after holding an emergency the meeting with the top brass of security has directed them to take precaution.

Police all over the state are directed to guard the water reservoir.

HOUSE BURGLED;

Thieves broke into a locked house at Virajpet and made away with cash and materials worth rupees 3.82 lakhs.

According to police, house was burgled at nigh on 13th as the family had been to

Madikeri to witness Dasara festival. A cash of rupees 2.98 lakh was among the burgled.

Dog squad was pressed to service and no clues were found.
