A Clash broke between groups of members that ended with the loss of an ear lobe!

The incident occurred at Malambi village near Shanivarsanthe. A group went in for a hot discussion about owning a puppy. Situation turned hot. Two persons held one Raja tight and Kurubara Ramesh bit his right year.

Beating him black and blue, the group spat the piece of his ear and left. Raja has lodged a complaint with the police.

NAADORME BY CNC;

The Kodava National Council will form Nadorme on 15th.

The CNC secretary general Mr.N.U.Nachappa said that Mrs.Jayanthi Shetty would take part in the Nadorme to be held at Siddapur.

CALL TO BRING CHILD LABOURERS TO MAIN STREAM;

MLA Mr.K.G.Bopaiah has urged the society to bring child laborers to the main stream.

Presiding over the function organized by the district administration and labour department, Mr.Bopaiah said that the child labour practice could be removed only if their financial conditions are improved. He urged the officials to see that the government benefits reaches poor and the needy to improve their socials status.

Labour officer Mr.Anand Murthy disclosed that the department has identified 1200 child labourers in the district. He said that the children would be given education and protection. Rs 27,000 is collected as fine from the employers.

CEO Mr.Sundar Naik and others spoke on the occasion.
