BANGARAPPA TO VISIT KODAGU

State secretary of samajwadi party, Mr.Govindraj disclosed in a press conference here that their leader mr.S.Bangarappa would visit Kodagu on this 22.

He stated that a party conference is organized at Kavery hall on the above date.

Mr.Ben Ganapathy is made the president of the district unit and Sai kumar as general secretary.

Mr.Govindaraj said that Bangarappa is touring all over the state to strengthen the party. President of the Mysore unit, former MLA Mr.V.Papanna spoke on the occasion and said that the state government will shortly fall and their party will take lead in Karnataka.

BOY CRUSHED UNDER TREE;

A fifth standard student ,Rajesh died at Srimangala yesterday as a tree fell on him due to heavy winds.

Son of a labourer Master Rajesh was walking from school at the time of the incidence. Fierce wind in the area has caused severe damage to properties, the villagers complained.

The Manchalli school today conducted a condolence meeting and handed over rupees one thousand to the family of the deceased student from the school fund.

TOURIST DESTINATION ONLY ON RECORDS?

If you make a trip to Irpu waterfalls, the bad roads and lack of facility in the historic Irpu temple will prove that the department has been showing progress only on records.

The tourists who are thronging the place, looking at the ads are cursing the horrible approach roads to the tourist spot.

Irpu waterfalls is a panoramic sight with water falling down from 51 feet height.

People living around irpu have urged the government to concentrate on improving roads and other basic facilities.
