ENTERPRENEUR DIES IN ACCIDENT;An young entrepreneur, working as a group manager to ING VYSYA in Bangalore today died in road accident near Hunsur today morning. Ballachanda Arun, 29 bashed against a road side tree. 3 km from Hunsur in his Opel Astra car and died on the spot. An inmate, Kartik escaped with a leg fracture and is hospitalized. Deceased Arun was an upcoming business shot with his wife Divya, daughter of Mr.Mittu Chengappa, the KPCC general secretary, assisting him in business. Arun left Madikeri at 4.30 A.M on his way to Bangalore. He met with the accident at 5.30 a.m. postmortem was conducted at Hunsur and cremation was held at Madikeri. Deceased leaves wife and a 1.5 year old baby. THIRD MURDER IN FOUR DAYS;With two murders reported in Kodagu in three days, third murder took place at Eachanur near Gonicoppal yesterday. An estate laborer, Karku slaughtered to death his colleague Sabu in their line house and escaped. According to the police, both were working in Ginger plantation and would get into drunken brawl every evening. Estate owner Teethimada Nanjappa found the dead body abandoned in the empty line house and lodged a complaint. Gonicoppal police are looking for the accused. Deceased is a native of Kerala and was working here. Meanwhile, a gunshot was reported from Napoklu yesterday and one Ponnanna was shifted to Mangalore with grievous injury. Mystery surrounds the cause of the gun shot. While the family members of the injured stated that he was shot by a planters son, related to a former minister, police, who did not register the case said that the person shot himself. However, the family members rejected the fact stating that they do not own a gun. Enquired about the fact, the superintendent of police, Mr.Devajyothi ray said that a team was sent to Mangalore for verification.
