HELP THE HANDICAPS:DALAILAMA

Madikeri Dec. 3 “Help the handicaps”:called the Tibetan leader Dalailama.He was speaking after inaugurating the “Karuna Ashrama” at tibetan Refugee camp, Bylakuppe today.To help the handicaps through proper education, this centre has been started which is the third centre in India. Other two centres are active in Dehradun-exlained His Holiness.

The highest tibetan refugees are settled at Byalakuppe camp;More than 16 thousand tibetans are happily residing in the camp with the help of localites cooperation- appreciated Dalai Lama in his speach.

He arrived to the camp today morning in the Deccan Aviation helicopter. He was welcomed by the Mysore district Police Superintendent Vipul Kumar, Additional SP R.Dilip and others. Dalai Lama will be camping in the Serame university Campus area till the 19th and will be attending several religious programmes. More than 400 specail police are deputed for security.
