Basic Classroom Policies

In order to foster positive transferable work habits, the following must occur:

BE PROMPT: Arrive to school on time and in your seat upon chime of the bell

BE PREPARED: Come to class well-rested and ready to learn with your classroom materials and supplies

BE POLITE: Respect your peers’ personal space, property, and opinion

BE ATTENTIVE: Practice active listening skills when the teacher, other students, or guests are addressing the class. If you have a question or would like to contribute to the discussion, remember courtesy

BE COOPERATIVE: Be a contributing member to classroom

BE RESPONSIBLE: Ask for help when you need it, keep track of your books and assignments, turn your work in on time, do your part in cooperative learning projects, challenge yourself to grow, and accept responsibility for education.
