CARLO MASTRANGELO - By Al Kelly

Carlo Mastroangelo was the lead singer for the Belmonts before Dion 
came along and recorded with the group on and off after he went solo. 
He made about six records for the Laurie label but never had a major 
hit. Several caught on as local region hits. The Belmonts never 
backed him on any of his recordings. The DeMilles backed Carlo on 
this record ("Ring-A-Ling" by Carlo - Laurie 3227, 1963) and on others 
the Tremonts backed him.
