THE RUNAROUNDS = by Al Kelly The group was led by Guy Villari and started singing together with some neighborhood buddies from the Bronx. They became a group officially in '58 and were known as the Monterays and later changed it to the Regents of "Barbara Ann" fame. None of the followup to their hit got any air play ans broke up in '59. In '64 Guy got the group back together and became the Runarounds or Run-A Rounds, because this was the title of the Regents second release. They had five releases on five different labels, none of them were appreciated. This is a copy of the Four Seasons style of music
