
If a publisher makes an offer using their own contract, the Guild will review it for you.
They will also collect writer royalites and make sure you receive royalites from all sources covered by your publishing contract, including sheet music, song folios, recordings, tapes, motion picture and TV film uses. In addition , there is a montly program called Ask-A-Pro where songwriters can ask guest speakers pertinent questions regarding the record industry. Songwriting workshops are also taught by leading professtional writers.
In order to become a full member, you must be a published songwriter. An associate member is any unpublished songwriter with a desire to learn more about the business and craft of songwriting.
