Days go by
Reality is a dream
The world is distorted
Fading in
Fading out
Broken thoughts
Faces I didn't know
Voices I couldn't understand
People crying
Dry whispers
the gunshot ringing
A bright flash blinds me
I see my human hands
Surrounded by the darkness
No portal
No light
The gunshot still ringing
The crying still surrounding me
Though fading away
As if I'm not here
I see a reflection of me
My scarred face
Empty blue eyes
Still in the empty gaze
My head starts to hurt
I fall to my knees
A voice began speaking
I shut my eyes clinching
"Here Lies ......."
"He was only 18...."
"Why did he have to die..."
"...life after death..."
"awaken"
My eyes opened
I saw my grave
"is this what you wanted...."
A tear began to roll down my eye
Dropping to the ground
then fading
I tilted my head
Smiling with a torn smirk
The sickening reality
Sinking into my skull
the shadows began to swirl around
the sky faded to black
its the black portal
"....other side now....."
"this is your death...."
"....good bye...."
the ground beneath me gave away
I fell into my body
but there was nothing inside
so cold
so empty
gone
