Aamir   Khan
The chocolate boy of Bollywood was born on March 14,   1965. He shot to fame with his song Papa Kahte Hain Bada Nam Karega in   his debut film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak(1988), co-starring Juhi Chawla.   His acting talent and boy-next-door looks immediately endeared him to the   audiences. He followed up his success with similar lover boy roles in Dil(1990)   with Madhuri Dixit, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin with Pooja Bhatt, Jo   Jeeta Wohi Sikandar(1992) with Ayesha Julka and Pooja Bedi, Hum Hai Rahi   Pyaar Ke(1992) with Juhi Chawla and then graduated on to more serious   roles in Akele Hum Akele Tum(1995) with Manisha Koirala, Raja   Hindustani(1996) with Karisma Kapoor, Ghulam(1998) with Rani   Mukherjee, Earth(1998) with Nandita Das, Sarfarosh(1999) with   Sonali Bendre and Mann (1999) with Manisha Koirala.

   Some of his less memorable films include
Love Love Love (1989), Tum   Mere Ho(1989), Awwal Number(1990), Jawani Zindabad (1990), Daulat   Ki Jung(1992) Aatank hi Aatank(1995) and Mela(2000).

   Aamir proved his versatility as an actor with comic performances in films   like
Andaz Apna Apna(1994) and Ishq(1997) and trend-setting   tapori roles in blockbusters Rangeela(1995) and Ghulam(1998).   Aamir Khan also started the trend of doing one film at a time. Dedicated and   methodical, he is known to involve himself with his films from the scripting   stage to the editing table. A thorough professional, Aamir has since gained a   reputation for easily being counted on to give brilliant performances if not   always hit films. He received the Filmfare Best Actor for Raja Hindustani   in 1997.
