The TrueType fonts that you can use for Windows are the
files with the extension .TTF. The first one is called Gayathri. It is
a rather blockish Malayalam font. The second font is called
Janaranjani, and is a much curvier font.

You can get Winzip from http://www.winzip.com/
Use pkunzip or winzip to extract the files into a directory
(it doesn't matter which one; try c:\temp). Load Windows,
and open the "Control Panel". Open the "Fonts" icon. Select the
"Add" option. You should now be in the "Add Fonts" window.
Under "Directories", go to the one where you unzipped the files.
You should then be able to highlight the two fonts. Make sure the
box at the bottom labelled "Copy Fonts to Windows Directory" has
an "X". Then Select "OK" and you should them be set. Now you can go
and delete the unzipped files since Windows will have copied the
files it needs.
