| My name is Shahram Vahdany, I am writer and am presently working on my historical-fiction "Black Garment" (you can read a summary of it in the book page). Sometimes I write poetry but I don't consider myself a poet. About me; I was born and raised in Iran and moved to Canada, in 1983, first to Montreal and now I live in Vancouver. I went to McGill and Concordia University, in Montreal, and then I finished a counseling program here in Vancouver. I have a degree of psychology, in film production, and have been trained in The Actors Studio (as a stage actor and director). I have directed some plays and short films both here and in Montreal. I am single and live with a roommate. I'm a father of two beautiful children (if I can call one of them that) my son by the name of "Arash" 22 years old, and a girl "Magdalena" who is four years old. A little about this site: I have built this site for verity of reasons 1- To post some of my writing 2- To have feedback. 3- To have contact with those who are writers. 4- To provide a space for those who wish to post their writing. 5- Finally, to have a network of people working together.
