Profile :

            My name is Shaheen. I had born on 28-05-1980 at Al-Ain, UAE. My father is Mr. Mohammed Kutty and mother's name is Suhara. I joined for primary education in Bethany St: John's English High School in Kunnamkulam, Kerala. Then I completed pre-degree in Commerce from Sree Krishna College, Guruvayoor, Kerala and Degree in Commerce from Co-0perative College, Thrissur, Kerala. Then I joined C-DAC (Center for Diploma in Advanced Computing) from Amrita Institute, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and also completed one and half years studies from N.I.I.T.

           I started my career as a freelance programmer and done computerization of small business firms in my city. Then I joined RAJAHSOFT Pvt. Ltd, software-developing wing of Kajah Group of Concern. My designation was programmer and I worked in Power Builder and Postgresql and made Applications for our sister concerns like Hospital, School etc and abroad companies including Gulf Engineering Company, Saudi Arabia. Then I joined UAEExchange & Financial Services Ltd. Cochin as programmer. There I worked in Powerbuilder and J2EE with Sybase and MS SQL Server as backend. There I developed applications like Insurance, HRMS, Hotel Business Solution etc... Currently I am working in ICICI infotech as software engineer. I am working in PREMIA8E Group insurance division which is build on Java and Oracle.

My objectives are :

    Title                : Premia8E.
    Client             : Insurance Co. in U.S.A.
    Environment : Java and Oracle8i.

    Project Description:
    ICICI infotech developed a group insurance solution known as Premia8E. It's developed in Java as front end and Oracle8i as back end. It also having web application developed in ASP. It provide different functionality like master data entry screens , policy setup, issue policy, endorse policy, calim authorization, claim entry, claim settlement, premium processing, reports, data upload[from text and excel files] etc... Insurance Co. can maintain a network of doctors and hospitals and insured person can avail treatment from them. Doctors and Hospital can claim for the treatment they provided by web site or by sending the details as text or excel file.

    Roles & Responsibilities:
     Working as a developer and doing customization of the product and also error rectification. Product is installing in different insurance companies in U.S.A, so lot of customization and error rectification are doing as per the instruction.

    Environment : PowerBuilder 8.0 using PFC, Servlet and Sybase 11.0. .

    Project Description:
    Uaeexchange became corporate agent of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) and General Insurance Corporation (GIC). Co. need a system which will keep track transactions in 100 branches all over India. Staff in the branch needs a site which will be easier to use and also useful for getting features and benefits of policies, premium calculation, policy issue, premium processing, premium due listing, commission tracking, accounts etc….

    Roles & Responsibilities:
     Worked as Project Leader and lead the team in design and coding. Design part was one of the toughest things because we have to implement most of the functionality which LIC and GIC are doing, because customer is going to deal with us for each and every need in insurance. Implemented application which includes master screen entry and also transaction which allows to use from administrative office. Web site allows branch staff to see the details of different policy, policy issuing, premium calculation, premium due listing, comission details etc…

    Title                : Human Resource Management System (HRMS).
    Client             : Uaeexchange & Financial Services LTD.
    Environment : PowerBuilder 8.0 using PFC, Servlet and Sybase 11.0. .

    Project Description:
    Uaexchange is a big organization consisting of more than 1000 employees. Company needs a system to manage this large human resource. System will do the routine jobs starting from joining of employee to resignation / termination. We created a system, which will manage all things like add new employee, attendance marking, leave form submition & approval, salary generation etc…

    Roles & Responsibilities:
     Worked as Sr. Programmer and played major role in coding as well as maintenance. I created screens for adding employee, leave crediting on pro-rata basis, salary generation, leave approval, reports etc... All the transaction are linked with accounts module which is common to all applications using in Uaeexchange.

    Lotus Hotel is a 4 star hotel locating in Dubai. It has lot of departments like Front Office, Stores, Food and Beverage, Accounts, Sales and Marketing, HR, Laundry, Outside Catering, Purchase etc… They need a system which will manage all this department

    Roles & Responsibilities:
     Worked as programmer and has been assigned with accounts module. Created screens for entering details like cash and bank deelings, fixed asset (purchase, sales, appreciation, depreciation, discard etc), creditors payment and HR (duty scheduling, attendance & leave marking, OT maintenance etc… Also played a mojor role in testing and documentation of project.

    Title                : Businessparc.com
    Client             : Businessparc, UK.
    Environment : PHP, JavaScript, HTML and Mysql. .

    Project Description:
    Businessparc.com is a website which contains different part like businessparc, autoparc, careerparc, mailparc, industrialparc, travelparc, entertainmentparc etc… It contain three phases of which one is completed. Site allows users to register as provider or buyer after giving setup fees and monthly subscription fees. When a buyer request for a product, a message is send to provider who registered as provider of that product. Email facility is also provided for the registered user and other users under mailparc.com.

    Roles & Responsibilities:
     Worked as Project Leader and done a major role in designing and coding. Registered users can give advertisement by givinh details like duration and in which page to show ex: provider's page, buyers page etc… The ads will show in the bottom of the given page. Every click on the ads will track and ads user have to pay for it. It also contain mailparc.com which provides email facility using qmail for the registered as well as other users. All the facility in the leading email sites are provided in it.

    Project Description:
    Computerization of Gulf Engineering Company, Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia which includes costing & inventory management, accounts management and Human Resource Management System for engineering department, real estate wing and HRD.

    Roles & Responsibilities:
     Worked as programmer and played a major role in developing real estate solution for the company. Company having lots of sites which is given for rent to clients. All the transaction in the real estate department like adding new sites, facilities and location of site, alloting room to client, generating contract note, rent scheduling, rent collection, termination, revising contract etc... can be done using real estate software. All the transaction will automatically update accounts, so easy to keep track of accounts also.
