Narrative Description of Project:

Run-of-the-river scheme with an installed capacity of 144 MW, 47 m high gated weir, surface desander, 6 km tunnel, underground surge tank and powerhouse and 100 km long 132 kV transmission line.

Description of Actual Services provided by the Staff:

Detailed Design & Construction Designs and Supervision Stage:

  1. Rock mechanics investigation, testing, instrumentation and monitoring.
  2. Numerical modeling for the analysis and design of underground and surface excavations (underground power and transformer cavern, headrace tunnel, underground desanders, intake and power house slopes, etc.) and their support systems.
  3. Detailed structural designs and reinforcement detailing for Power House, dam and desanding basin, construction management, geotechnical designs, tunneling, site supervision, quality control, materials engineering, surveying, drafting, etc.
