I tripped when I should have fallen, outside the store front where she sat behind a large Formica desktapping her pencil against her templetapping against her lipstapping against the cup of coffee, slowly sending it towards the edgesending it falling into a hefty trash bag

She caught a glimpse of me staring, just as I turned to walk away.  Love window-shoppingespecially when I am late for work. My hair is still wet. My socks are damp, didnt have enough quarters to finish the cycle. No worries, theyll be soaked in cheap red wine in no time. Should have thought differently about the white tank top I am wearingI hear tie-dye is coming back. Ill pass a wine spattered tank for 50 bucks in the window of an Urban Outfitters in a few months. So Ill prepare myself now, and sell it to a thrift store where a jappy suburban communications major finds it ironic and wears it to her internship at the Diesel Style Lab and my TJ MAXX clearance rack, red wine spattered tank top will be selling for top dollar on West Broadway to all the model-esque girlfriends of post dot com ipo wizards are attempting to hang on to the last breath of fame before returning to geek status. The geeks no longer reign.
geek love...
