I. Introduction
-------------------

First of, THANK YOU for downloading this carset.

When I first took up the challenge of painting Champcars for ICR2, I didn't think I'd still be plugging away four years later. Time sure does fly.

This carset, AFAIK, is the second carset to use the blended mips that were created using Cowtown Bob's ICR2 Manager.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MAKE ANY UPDATES OR CHANGES TO THIS CARSET AND ITS CARS AS YOU SEE FIT FOR YOUR OWN USE. HOWEVER, IF YOU DO PLAN TO DISTRIBUTE THE CARSET PUBLICLY, PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE NOT ONLY THE WORK I HAVE DONE, BUT ALSO THE WORK OF THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE PUT THE TIME AND EFFORT, PAST AND PRESENT, INTO CREATING THESE CARSETS FOR ALL OF US TO ENJOY.

ABOVE ALL, HAVE FUN RACING AGAINST THE CARS AND STARS OF THE 2005 CHAMP CAR WORLD SERIES.

IV. Acknowledgements

For a detailed list of credits, see the credits.txt file.

From helmets, to tires, to car bodies, to driver settings, huge THANK YOU'S go out to the following individuals, whose work, past and present helped make this carset a reality.

Bob Seaman - Bob took some of the helmet and sponsor painting off my back. I hate doing helmets. :) He also modified the drivers2 file based off of the Long Beach GP. Bob also has been double checking my work. It's nice to get a second pair of eyes on a project like this. Thanks Bob!

Ed Roman - For donating filler cars, that I ended up not using. Sorry Ed. :) Hopefully, he'll release them as alternate cars. Some nice work.

Rbert Sziksz - The one who opened the floodgates to all the editing possibilites.

Federico Macas - For creating a good Lola car to work with.

All of the real CCWS cars for the 2005 season, were either created by me or reworked from previous carsets. I also repainted my personal car, #16 Intel/Dell.

RIP John Gaughan, aka Railbird.
