1.0 SUBJECT DESCRIPTION

This subject discusses through the theory an application of multimedia building blocks. It explores the techniques and skills in developing and producing in order to integrate all elements in multimedia building blocks. There are many software would be used to edit the entire media element component and there are so many step should be followed before all element media can be integrate through the software Director 6.

2.0 OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course, student should be able to;

2.1 understand the multimedia basic concept, structure and organisation, and the jobs opportunities in multimedia production

2.2 understand at least four major step to development of multimedia presentation building block;

2.2.1 discussion and plotting the outline of multimedia presentation and to distribute work in each members in the group

2.2.2 prepared all kind of media element needed like to find out the sources, selection and to capturing and editing all the element through the special software before going to the next step ďż˝ integrate to becoming the multimedia application

2.2.3 preparation to build-up the storyboard
2.2.4 Integrate the entire media element (sound, video, audio, graphic, text, animation and etc.) with followed the plot and logic flow chart of the application or presentation.

2.3 learning through the experience how they rate the presentation and the setting. The student also can request their recommendations for improving future presentations of the same application or others

2.4 gather quantitative and qualitative data, use some kind of evaluation form.
