| Ah, the token male of the crew. Camden had no clue what he was...or rather...what Sedjet was getting him into when they signed up with Brenna Nikita. He had suspected she was a she-woman maneater, but he had not known things would be as bad as they are. The poor guy! He thought being the only man on a ship full of women would be easier than be the swabbie for a bunch of vulgar, perverted marauders. Camden is so lucky Sedjet is around to protect his manhood from the maneaters. Alas, that is the price you pay for being an incurably adorable mopheaded boy with blue eyes and golden brown ringlets. Camden doesn't know what the hell to think of the Raven. Most of the time, he is afraid he will wake up with his throat slit. That's why he sleeps curled around Sedjie like she is a teddy-bear. However, he has a little faith in his position on the Siren, because he hasn't been marooned yet. If Brenna hated him enough, she would have found a way to get rid of him. I strogly suspect that the reason Brenna tolerates him is that if she squints her eyes and pretends, she can fool herself into thinking he is a woman and that Sedjet bats for the other side. Of course, the pair of puppy-lovers makes the rest of the crew sick. But when you've been through as much as Sedjet and Camden, allowances can be made for mushiness. Camden had been engaged to Captain McCloud's daughter, Jenny. But when the epidemic took her five years ago, he deicided to take up and follow McCloud around the world. He had looked upon McCloud as a type of father figure and had loved Jenny very much. He had seen it as an honor to her memory to go with her father and be partof the crew of the Painted Lady. He had never expected to find the love of his life on that faitful day when the Painted Lady docked in a small harbor village in Ireland. He had come upon a young Gypsy girl dancing for coins in the street, events transpired, and he bought her from her brother (mostly to piss her off). He had learned very quickly which buttons to push and enjoyed every moment of it. She was adorable and full of fire! He had known the Captain would be entertained by her and let her stay, and he couldn't have done anything but improve her situation, right? Well...she didn't seem to think so, and for weeks, she made his life a living hell before they realized they were absolutely too-fargone in love with each other. His life had changed forever the night McCloud was killed. He had no more reason to stay with the Painted Lady, so he went with Sedjet to wherever it was their feet were taking them. They ended up in tavern in Spain where they met up with Brenna Nikita, and the rest , as they say, is history. Camden is an adorable, curly haired kid. He's gangly and generally scrawny, but Sedjie seems to be pretty hot for his bod. He has eyes like the sea, one of his best features. He's scruffy, but it works for him. He's a pirate, after all. HIs curls are a gorgeous golden brown. There is always a glint of mischief in his eyes...well...when they aren't glazed over in an alcoholic daze, that is. He likes his Grog, but he doesn't hold his liquor well. |
