Their crew was originally called New Sytle, and they performed at local talent shows until Queen Latifah discovered them. With Latifah�s help, the fellas landed a record deal with Tommy Boy Records. The crew blew up with their very first single �O.P.P.�

Treach began branching out in the early 90�s and wound up on a few flicks. Beginning with Juice, Who�s The Man and Jason�s Lyric. As the group became more and more popular, Treach continued to pursue his acting career. His front role in Jason�s Lyric gained him some attention and he wound up on a recurring role on the HBO prison series Oz. Things were looking good�. Until Treach and Vinnie were arrested for illegal weapons possession.

But luckily they cleared that up, and in 1999, Treach married longtime love interest Peps (of Salt-N-Pepa). The couple were very happy and had a baby together, but unfortunately their marriage only lasted two years.

Later that year, Naughty by Nature returned to the music scene with a new album but Kay Gee bounced in order to concentrate on a full-time career. Treach and Vinnie went on to release an album with just the two of them in early 2002 called iicons and have been doing very well as a rap duo.
