Christina Milian

The Libra (Sept. 26) from NJ was born to Cuban parents back in 1981. Christina Milian was an entertainer from the beginning. At a young age, she blessed the stage with her performance as she played Annie Warbucks in the musical rendition of Annie. She even appeared in national commericals and did some modeling.

Christina felt right at home in the spotlight and moved on to bigger and better things. She showed up on the Disney Channel (after declining to be a Mouseketeer) and instead took on the job of a junior journalist on Disney's Movie Surfers.

By her pre-teen years, Christina had graduated to TV sitcoms and was featured in hits like Clueless, Sister, Sister, Smart Guy, and had a recurring role on Get Real. Her big break came when she appeard in the 1999 hit film "The Wood." That gig was followed up with a voice-over for an animated character in A Bug's Life.

At this point Christina's mom had recognized that her daughter was serious about being an entertainer and moved her to Cali to pursue her dream...and Christina was making major moves in Cali. She met up with Rodney Jerkins, he inspired her to try her hand at singing. Strangely enough, Christina's career didn't quite blow up until she appeared in Ja Rule's #1 single "Between Me and You."

All of a sudden people were wondering "who the hell is she and where did she come from?"

Christina's career took off after that. She was featured on the *NSYNC tour as the opening act. While touring she did several promotions. Then she got the chance to show her stuff when her self-titled debut album dropped on Def Soul and her music video, "A.M. to P.M." was released. Christina can not only act and sing, but she also writes. Christina co-wrote the Jennifer Lopez hit "Play," as well as PYT's first single "Same Ol' Same Ol'".
