Aaliyah Dana Haughton

At age 22, Aaliyah Haughton is dead. Aaliyah was killed in a plane crash in the Bahamas while returning home from a video shoot for her self-entitled cd "Aaliyah". Aaliyah died when a twin-engine plane in which she was travelling with 7 other people crashed seconds after taking off from the Bahamas. She reportedly died instantly when the plane exploded on impact just 200 feet beyond the end of a runway at Marsh Harbour International Airport on Abaco Island. Others killed in the accident included makeup artist Eric Foreman, 29, and Virgin Records representative Douglas Kratz, 28, according to Rahming. Two other women and three other men, including the pilot, died in the crash, while one man was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. He later died. Unfortunately, this devastating news was not a hoax.
