As you probably know my name is Shady and I'm a female Old English Mastiff. I was born in Nova-Scotia on July 4th 2000 and I now live in Irishtown New Brunswick, Canada.
People say I'm a big girl at almost 2 yrs old weighing 170Lbs but I still think that I'm a great lap dog. Who said you had to be small to curl up on someone! I certainly didn't!
Snuggling is one of my favorites but when I'm awake playing is what I do best. I've made friends and acquaintances since I've been living with my parents Marc & Carole at the age of 3 1/2 months but as I've soon discovered friends can move away and acquaintances don't come out and play.
I do have allot of fun when I'm with my puppy buds big or small I love them all. Playing tug, ball, chase, swim, camping, hiking, shopping in pet stores, chewing on bones and treats!! Just plainly having a howling great time! Aaaaawooo!!
I'm always looking forward to meeting new friends, if your parents will let you come out and play I promise we'll have a woofing good time! My parents can drive me anywhere in the greater Moncton area. All we need is a date, time and place and we'll be there. We also know a few great spots to go play. Whether its 1 on 1 or a whole group of us I'm all paws for it!
I do have a few hidden secrets...although they are embarrassing I feel being truthful from the beginning of our friendship is what a good dog should do. Here goes... I'm a big drooler when I eat, drink or when I'm hot and I am also afraid of the dark. There I've said it! Boy do I feel relieved!
Now that I've told you a little about myself, I would love to hear from you. Ask your parents to help you, just a little tip... The sad puppy face or perky ears with a slight tilt of the head works wonders... that's how I got my website hehehe! It totally melts their hearts!
