Soul Caliber 2. A truly amazing game all around. It;s fighting system is varied from  just mashing buttons to predicting your enimies next move, countering it, then stabbing em' where the sun dont shine.
The thing I'm glad they kept and revamped from Soul Caliber 1 is the Wepons Master game mode(Mission mode in #1) where you traverse the world, level up and complete your quest to destroy Soul Edge. The Evil sword once thought to be defeated 4 years ago by the Soul Caliber. A host of characters join the action. Sophitia's slightly younger sister Cassandra wasnt really nessesary as she plays just like Sophitia. I hate when there are too many "Alike" characters in fighting games. And SC2
has alot of em. Also the difficulty of the game can be unforgiving at times making you want to just give up. But you'll always come back for more. I wish you could have more than one file in Weapons Master too.
New combos are avalible to master and the new Guard Impact(press A<-- just as your oponent attacks. It's tricky to pull off but it can turn the tides in a fight. Sadly Soul caliber can get boring if your playing it alone for awhile. I ended up testin my skills in the Extremely Hard diffuculty for Master players. It was fun but I didnt get past the second Fight.....
8 out of 10
The soul still burns....
A very good Fighting Game over all...But not the classic i was hoping for.
