Her Spirit Awaits

her spirit sings out of the happiness ,
that lies with in her.
her eyes dance of merriement,
as her laughter springs forth.
what magic doesth she hold within her?
as she wonders through this land.
for what she holds within her,
no man can capture.
nor will they ever tame,
the free spirit that grows with in her daily.
to capture her , would to imprison that which she clings to.
the spirit that lies within her would slowly die,
and the irradescence would slowly fade,
and she would be no more.
her spirit runs through the ageless time.
to touch and to feel ,
to make right, what once was wrong.
in hopes that soon she will be granted,
the time of her becoming.
when she too will walk among man.
but what will she lose, when this day comes?
will she lose the innocence that she holds within?
or ,
will she become stronger.
who knows this, but her,
for within her lies the truth of her inner spirit.
