WORKING HER MAGIC
slipping from the confides of our bed,
to stand and look longinly from the window.
i wonder where you are
and if the same moon shines down on you.
to myself i say the words,
"bring me back my love so true.
let him embrace me once again,
to be with him, throughout eternity"

a noise from the other room
breaks through this revernant silence.
behind me a door opens and allows the light to rush in,
and pushing the darkness aside.
then as quickly as the light shone upon me,
i am driven back into the darkness.

i feel a slight touch upon my shoulder,
a touch that seems familiar.
then once again,
you pull me tightly within your arms.
holding you tightly in a lovers embrace,
and feeling the warmth that you bring
to fill  this lonely heart of mine.

stay with me i do ask,
never to roam ,
never to leave.
my hand moves to the spot where you once laid.
feeling the coldest that is there,
with the moon peering silently through the window
my eyes wander aimlessly around the room.
the shadows splay carefree throughout this lonely room.
here we once held each other,
and whispered softly , upon each others ear,
of the plans of future dreams.
feeling the softness of your pillow,
and pulling it to my face.
without your warmth beside me, and the deepest of your breathing,
sleep evades me once again.
through the open window do i see,
tiny ights that dance so freely.
landing on the window sill,
they peer within the confides of the room.
as their small hands pull the shears to hide within.
soft giggles do i hear .
as their tiny wings begin to beat,
so softly in the night.
taking flight they, skitter here and there.
their tiny brillance dance wildly in the darkness
as their tiny lights flicker as beacons in the night.
the tiny lights fly lazily around us,
darting here and then there.
soon they return  to the window whence they came.

turning back to the window
to stare out into the moon lit night.
as their flickering lights move
across the open field.
whispering softly into the nigt,
saying a thanks to them that are,
for bringing you back to me.
A friend of mine wrote this. After reading it, I asked him if , it was possilbe for me to make him a web page . And then link his work to my other pages. I hope you all enjoy it.
