Lupin III cast! They even got a Zinigata! Go, Inspector Zinigata!

The waterfront at the mall next to the Baltimore Convention Center. This is part of the Cheseapeake Bay.

The Cheseapeake Bay is pretty.

I found Waldo! He's one of the non-anime cosplayers there, but... it's a tradition to find a Waldo at any anime convention, just because there is such a sea of people. I wonder who started the "Where's Waldo?" tradition at these cons...

More non-anime cosplayers - the Ghostbusters! One of them was playing '80s music from his proton-pak. They were cool.

Vash x Meryl! Whee! I think Meryl is going to smack Vash... for being so drunk hanging on her. That's me, of course, in case you don't recognize me from previous pics for some reason.

I found this Haibane in the Saturday Night Fanparodies screening. She had the wing covers that the Haibane in the series use in the winter!

Matrix cosplayers! Neo, Trinity, and Agent Smith!

Neo and Trinity try to find an Exit.

Vash getting freaked out by his eternal nemsis, Legato. Yes, Legato, kiss the Kuroneko! El_Gatoshipping forever! Hahahahhaah!

A different Legato, and a very Goth one. He made his costume out of plastic components he molded himself! He was very, very cool.

More Goth Legato.

Drunk!Vash hanging on Legato. I don't think Legato is amused. "Eternal pain and suffering, Vash the Stampede!"

A group of Haibane! These are passing online aquaintences of mine, Arafel, Emperess Galaxia, and Jaina. They had a couple of friends with them whom I didn't know. One of the friends (not pictured here, in next picture) was playing a random thug character from the "Kill Bill" movies - not exactly fitting in with sweet little Haibane. Arafel was Nemu, E.G. was Rakka (am I correct? I don't remember whether it was E.G. or Jaina who was Rakka), and Jaina as Hikari (in her summer clothes, unlike my Hikari pictures, in which I was Hikari in her winter outfit).

Me as Drunk!Vash (unfortunately, I did not have my own Haibane getup with me on this day), posing with the Haibane... and the thug from "Kill Bill."

Now for some "Neon Genesis Evangelion!" Rei, Ritsuko and (Hikari? I forget her name... girl who likes Touji).

Argh, I mislabled this picture... with so many pictures to label... this is Gendou Ikari and Asuka from "Neon Genesis Evangelion." Very cool costumes. Gendou is especially convincing!

I have yet to see "Chobits," but here is Chi from "Chobits." For being one of the most over-cosplayed characters in the history of anime cosplay (second to Vash the Stampede?) - I had to get a picture of one person as her. I thought this costume was especially well-done.

A non-anime cosplay, but I thought it was one of those worth picturing. Aqua Teen Hunger Force! From that weird cartoon on Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim."

The herd of humanity at the con - last day.

There were A LOT of people there.

Non-anime, from "The Nightmare Before Christmas," Jack Skellington! I think he's in the game "Kingdom Hearts," though... so that makes him kinda anime, as the game was a Japanese and American joint production.

Matt (Slagpit) and DJ, cuddling and being cute. This is before this loving couple is seperated by physical distance for another year. (He lives in Maryland, she in D.C.). HOW SAD! It's like me and Robert - long distance relationship. They were all cuddly and cute! I had to snap a photo!

Ugh, second day! I hate how I'm missing these con pictures and getting them out of order! Anyway, a chocobo from the Final Fantasy games. I've got to play Final Fantasy sometime...

The vampire, Alucard, of "Hellsing" with his Hellhound form! That handpuppet was evil, yet cute! I want one!

My online bud, Dead Legato, would kill me if I forgot this one. Akabane from the anime "Get Backers," which I've yet to see, but... this is her favorite character. This guy is looking good as him, too.

Me, on the last day of the convention, as Rem Saverem from "Trigun."

Rem with Vash and Wolfwood! I think Vash is having drunken visions...

Second night picture... yes, these pictures are kinda out of order, as stated before. Silver Vaporeon has died! Actually, since she's Ed from "Fullmetal Alchemist" and the guy above her is a "Fullmetal Alchemist" character - this must be something from "Fullmetal Alchemist" that I do not get because I haven't seen that anime yet.

My favorite Pokemon! It's an Umbreon! Great Pokemorph-ness!

Ash Ketchum from "Pokemon!"

SpoonyBard from the Christian Anime Alliance message board, which is a board I don't go to much anymore, because of diffrences with certain administrators and the way the board is run. Still, most of the people there are cool, SpoonyBard included. I told him to tell a particular administrator, Shatterheart, "Evangelion Rules!" for me, just to annoy him (Shatter hates "Neon Genesis Evangelion")... if he showed up. Sadly, I couldn't wait around for anyone else from the board at Otakon to gather, as Robert and I were on our way out so we could get to the Jersey Shore before nightfall.

Oh! How could I forget the random line! Second night of con, this was the line getting into the Masquarade.

That same line again... moving slowly.

A sinbound Reki I found on the last day of the con!

Gone from the con! Robert and I make our way to Ocean City, New Jersey, to see the Atlantic Ocean, get some famous Johnson's Carmel Corn, and to eat a seafood dinner! I haven't seen any suspension bridges like this... I liked the archways, so I took a picture.

Ocean City! The Jersey Shore! Look! It's the Atlantic Ocean! Now, I have seen both oceans bordering the Unitied States! I got to see the Santa Monica Pier in California a couple of years ago, and now, I've been to Ocean City! It was too cool to swim - for me, anyway.

More of the beach!

People on Ocean City's boardwalk.

The boardwalk is fun. I tried to make pets out of the seagulls. Robert and I were eating from an open tub of Johnson's Carmel Corn. That stuff's SWEEEEEET! It's as addictive as crack, too. We spilled some - and got attacked by the seagulls! The birds were actually too scared to get too close, but, they rushed in when they saw us dropping food. I was tempted just a little by a person selling hermit crabs on the boardwalk. "The First Crab is Free!" I decided against getting a new pet because, well, I don't have a tank to keep a hermit crab in, and I figure one would die on the trip back to Arizona, especially considering the heat, and, well, my cats would probably make a snack out of it. No, no pets from the seashore for me.

After our little walk down the boardwalk, and getting sweet treats (Robert also bought me some real, fresh salt water taffy), we went to eat at the Chatterbox, a nice little Ocean City resturant. The seafood there was good. I got my coveted crab cake (the best I've ever had, then again, the only other crabcake I ever had was from Long John Silver's fast food), and I tried some scallops. Wow. I've decided that I really like scallops. Robert called them "Poor Man's Lobster." Very apt - they have a lobster-type sweet taste.
