Sonic 1 Level Select At the title screen enter up,down,right,left,then hold square and press start



Sonic 2. Level Select and Super Sonic !

LEVEL SELECT:Go to options, then go to sound test. Play 19, 65, 09, 17. After you hit 17 you should hear a ring sound. After that press start, hold square. As soon as the menu shows up, keep holding square and press start on one player.SUPER SONICo the level select code. Then while in the level select menu, go to sound test, and play 04, 01, 02, and 06. As soon as you hit 06, you will hear the jingle for chaos emeralds. Now just pick a level, collect 50 rings and jump.




Sonic 3 Level Select and Debug Mode

Level Selecturing the time it takes for Sonic to load in the beginning, press 'up, up, down, down, up, up, up, up' on the D-Pad. (Note: This is hard to do, but you'll get it right eventually.) If you did this correctly, you can scroll down past the 'Competition' selection on the menu, and you will get an "Options" menu. Debug Moden the 'level select screen', go to any stage of your choice, hold down the button that is the 'A' button for the Sega Genesis, and press start.

Debug Mode for Sonic 2 (Genisis)

After entering the Level Select screen, go to the sound test option. Here, play the songs 1,9,9,2,1,1,2,4 in that order. Hold Square and select your stage. You will know you have done it correctly when the score portion of the screen is turned into a sort of matrix. The square, X, and circle buttons on the controller turn Sonic into objects found in the game and set them on the zone template. This is especially useful when using the Super Sonic cheat. You can enable infinite rings with this cheat.



Sonic Collection Plus Unlockables

Unlock Comic Zone and The Ooze

Make sure you have a save of Sonic Heroes on your memory card (Any save. You dont have to beat the game). After that, play SMC+ and go to the games section. After that, the game will tell you that they are now playable.

Comic Zone Get a save of Sonic Heroes. play SMC+, go to games, Game is now unlocked.
The Ooze Get a save of Sonic Heroes. play SMC+, go to games, Game is now unlocked.



Unlockables

Playing a game counts as seeing the sega screen and then pressing R1+quit after going to the specific game.

Unlock Hints

To unlock the "Hints" text for each game, keep it open for three hours. You don't have to play the game, just let it run. After three hours, exit out, and when you reenter the game, or check the Hints menu in the Options area, that game's hints will be available.
