There are few Magi communities. They generally either spring out of a shared paranoia about a local species or people, or even sometimes object, or form from several delusional people being decieved by a brilliant even more delusional leader.  Many Magi who are too suspicious of their own kind will turn to the Wraiths for manipulation instead.
