A lonely princess in search for some excitement in her life. A young thief with the goal to kidnap the princess. The meeting of these two characters in turn becomes the heart of Final Fantasy IX.
Together, as they journey, dark secrets of their lives are revealed. The Princess, strong, yet young has to control her mother, the Queen, who has gone crazy with her greed for power. A quality that was influenced upon her by a stranger from another world. The Princess also learns of her past, things that were never known to her before and things that could change who she is forever.
The young theif had decided to accompany this gracious princess but as time went by, the theif realized that he had a problem of his own. One more serious than any other and one that was very much interconnected with the mystery stranger influencing the Princess' mom.
Hardship led to Struggle, Pain led to Strength, Danger led to Courage, and Hope led to Love. FFIX is a story that will engulf all who believe in a love so strong that even a thousand trance Kuja's could not bend.
