The world of Vallendour consisted of two conflicting races. The men of Blundestor, and the Elves of Dark Forest as the humans called it. For what lay in the forest was unknown to man, because all that ventured in, did not return. All that they knew is that, that was the domain of the Elves. Elves to the men were short, weak and stupid creatures, which hid from the beasts that have claimed many human adventurers, which ventured deep into the dark god forsaken woods. The wood elf like no other was silent and very skilled with the bow. A quite large number of bandit Elves attacked the capital elvan city Dagon. They were outlawed and the Elves sort help from the human army. King Dagon and three advisers entered the streets of Blundestor wearing green capes and hoods to cover their Elvan ears. They entered the castle and the Kings chambers. The three advisers bowed to the human King though Dagon approached right up to the King and whispered into his ear. You know who we are and we have a small problem with some bandits. Ha ha ha the King laughed, The Elves need our help, ha ha ha. If you rid them, there would be possibility of a peace treaty, Dagon said. Ha we will rid you of your bandits, said the King. Where are they? In the north side of the forest. And haw many? one hundred or so. I will send three hundred of my men. But Three hundred and that is all, the King yelled. Or the deal is off. Dagon turned and left, as he passed his advisers they turned and followed. The army of men approached the forest and the Elvan bandits equipped themselves with a bow, many arrows and a short sword or two. The Elves leaped from tree to tree like monkeys and halted at the border of the forest where the trees met the plains. The foolish humans did not understand the power of the Elves and were ordered to charge. As the men began their charge the Elves watched. Aviss an Elvan commander reported to his bandit leader. The idiots have charged, he said in a low raspy voice. Ha the boss Galden chuckled Fire at once Yes sir. The order was given and so it was done. Aviss leaped into the air grabbed a branch and ran off through the treetops. He approached the waiting Elves LOAD YOUR ARROWS said Aviss. The one hundred and thirty two Elves loaded their bows and aimed. FIRE he said in that deep raspy voice. The elves released their arrows into the sky and watched as they came whistling down on the blurs on the horizon. Elves as old as 12 watched as the arrows that they shot ripped through the men of Blundestor. Men fell gripping their wounds and screaming for medics that would not arrive or for mothers that could not help. A man known as Voller on the run to certain death and the wood Elves would never miss thein targets. Voller was young and therefore stupid, he disobeyed his family and left to war. He was charging into a forest full of Elves to face an enemy he could not see. As the second rally of arrows took to the sky there was little hope for the two hundred humans left standing. An arrow struck Voller in the lower leg and he dropped immediately to his knees and his blade fell from his hands and hit the dusty sands of the plains. He gasped in pain as he saw blood pure from his leg. He stared at it for a while and then looked at the sky towards the heavens. The sounds of war faded. Then an arrow struck him in the liver and another in the stomach. The force of the Elvan arrows pulled him down. And there he lay on his back swallowing back blood as it came up his throat. He took a last stare at the sky with his left hand on his stomach wound and the other shielding his eyes from the sun. Blood ran like a fountain out of his stomach and he realized he was a goner. He very painfully leaned up and took a look at the forest and saw more arrows take to the sky. Throwing up a decent amount of blood onto the ground he hoped one of the arrows would put him out of his mortal life. His prayer was answered and a black-feathered arrow struck him in the middle of his head. His head thudded lifelessly to the ground as more of the humans were ripped up. A man named Zack was in the back row running as fast as he could to keep up. He was running behind three people but then an arrow struck one of them in the throat and the human fell to the ground. Zack jumped over his body and continued running. The man was killed instantly as the force of the arrow caused it to go right through the mans neck. Blood soaked the sands around the carcass. Then the other two were hit at the same time, blood squirted out and hit Zack in the face and it was then that he realized that he didnt stand a chance. An arrow struck one of them in the head and killed him instantly. The other man was not so lucky, he coped an arrow in the wrist and it burst right through his veins. He starter to fall while running causing him to slide. Turning to face the ground as he hit he broke his nose. Screaming in immense pain he began to cry. Another arrow tore through his right shoulder and completely ripped through it. Exposing bone his cries grew weaker as he lost blood and eventually he died. These Elves seemed to be savages that enjoyed inflicting pain on the people that opposed them. The last row was now the first and that row consisted of Zack. He continued running because he couldnt go back now. Then he copped two arrows in the face and he began to fall. Another two arrows hit him in the left shoulder and one in the right leg. He was well passed dead when he hit the ground. He lay there dead around his fallen mates. Another four arrows hit him in the back followed by another one arrow afterwards. Zack got further than any of the other humans. Aviss returned back to Galden with the news all the ignorant humans are dead Aviss said happily in that deep voice. Good, Galden said smiling, the army is dismissed. Aviss left to dismiss the army when Wait, Galden said. Aviss stopped but did not turn to face Galden. Good job, Galden finished and Aviss continued to walk away. After dismissing the army a large majority of the Elves ran onto the planes and began to decapitate their victims. Three Elves grabbed Zack and dragged him into the forest to make themselves a monument out of his body. Other angry wood Elves ran up to fallen humans and repeatedly stabbed and chopped them to bits. Literally there wasnt a solid piece of them left. Others had their head removed and shoved on stakes that they placed at the entrance of the forest. More Elves approached carcases; squatted, grabbed the hand of the body, grabbed a knife and cut their fingers off. Then ate them. Others still, collected ears or noses to make necklaces out of. Aviss went and put his hand on the twelve-year-old Elf and looked at him disappointedly. The young Elf turned and looked at Aviss and looked happy. I didnt miss daddy Aviss didnt change his depressed expression. What said the boy to his father your arrows killed injured human scum Aviss said in that low voice you should leave them their to suffer. But that boy was not much older than I I dont care Aviss yelled stupid boy he said to his son, then turned and walked away.
