Shes found that dressing to play up her figure and age comes in handy within her male-dominated profession. Besides which, she enjoys catching grope-happy males off guard with a swift boot to their reproductive organs. Her usual attire consists of sturdy boots, with loops to store her daggers, a gartered, waterproof leg guard that can protect her bow if weather mandates it as well as housing a few smaller throwing blade and the various resins to coat them. A boiled leather corselet and sturdy leather shorts and suede gauntlets are her only real concession to armor and the leather hand guards house four claw blades apiece that can be retracted and extended by means of a small mechanism nestled beneath their materia slots. A plain leather headband and an ornamental choker serve to hide more resins to coat her weaponry as well as spare bowstrings and her quiver doubles as storage for fletching tools, flint and an assortment of powdered components for healing and restorative purposes. Background: Silvaras life began under inauspicious circumstances. She was found in the forest beyond Haven, a small village deep in the wood of the southern Midgar continent, half-dead from exposure near the mutilated corpse of a woman. When Nisora Aerindale, the healer of Haven, chanced upon the weakened infant and the grisly scene, she put the full of her considerable skills to saving the childs life. Once she was safe from danger, the young widow to the foundling as her own and brought the infant home to her cottage to introduce her little boy, Terrin, to his new baby sister. Silvaras childhood passed peacefully in Haven. She was taught the healing arts from her mother and was doted upon by her protective older brother who made certain his little sister knew how to defend herself considering her love of running off to play in the forest or gather herbs and roots whenever the mood took her. The years passed without any notable upheaval from until the day Terrin decided to move to Midgar after enlisting with ShinRa on a visit to the city. From that point Silvaras stable life began to change rapidly. Nisoras health declined and more and more the villagers and her ailing mother came to depend upon the teenagers untried skills as a healer. Terrins newfound duties often kept him within the city for months at a time and visits from her brother became few and far between. Her greatest comfort came in the unexpected company of a young mercenary captain her brother had hired to come watch over his family and while at first wary of the redheaded swordswoman, Silvara quickly forged a deep friendship with Riyathena. Riya became the sister shed never had and was the foundation of her support when Nisora passed, and again when news came of Terrins death scarcely a year later. But grief quickly turned to rage and a desire for vengeance when she learned that her brother hadnt died in the line of duty but had instead been murdered. Three years before Midgar would fall, Silvara and Riyathena tracked down Terrins murderer and avenged his death but the killing didnt stop there. For Silvara, one death led to another as the organization responsible for Terrins slaying attempted to kill her as well and by the time the killing stopped, her life was set on another course. Now a bounty hunter, Silvaras occupation has taken her far from her roots as a quiet healer in an isolated village to possessing the reputation as one of the most ruthlessly determined female hunters in the world. Limit Skills: I: FireFly: A swarm of tiny motes of living flame that ignite whatever surface they land on. These motes can also be used to drain health and energy from their targets in small amounts and return it to Silvara. Haven: A veil of light envelops Silvara and her allies, shielding them from physical attacks while providing modest healing effects for as long as Haven is sustained. II Will-o-Wisp: a stronger variation of firefly, each mote of fire lands on the same target but instead of igniting they begin rapidly draining the most or all of the enemys health and transfer it to a chosen target. Salamander: a fire attack that sends a wave of fire out in an arc thats capable of passing through physical shields and barriers to strike all enemies for light to moderate fire damage, until the fires fade a lingering flame aura shields Silvara from magic attacks. III Hellfire: Silvara hurls a fireball at an enemy that upon impact inflicts fire-based damage and casts the target into confusion, causing the target to see his or her allies as enemies, and forces them into a berserker state that greatly reduces their accuracy and ability to use magic. Siydis Shadow: Siydi is called in to whisk his mistress close enough to physically attack the enemies, then attacks as well with his claws and beak before sweeping her back behind the safe presence of her allies. IV Fourplay: Sends four distinct waves of fire at her enemies, each capable of causing moderate damage along with a status condition of sleep, silence, slow or poison. Hot Stuff: Silvara casts an enemy in a state of confusion and lures him close with a wink and a come hither smile, and might even blow a kiss to the unlucky sod, before she sets him on fire. | |
