Appearance: Khanda is perhaps a little small for his age, but it would be best not to underestimate him. He keeps his dark hair pulled back into a loose ponytail at the back of his neck usually. At work he can be found dressed in a fashionable dark suit with glasses shielding his golden eyes often. Which tends to make people think that his eyesight would suffer without their aid, since he is rarely seen without them; which is not the case.

When he isn't at work, his appearance becomes more ragged looking almost; his hair is let loose to lie over his shoulders or fly about his face as it will. He also trades in his suit for looser clothing along with a large coat which ends in a pair of tails which are designed to look as if they were a pair of wings.

The belts hold his favored weapons, Suzume sheathed on the waist belt while Kazekiri or Hachiman often rides over his back. Finishing the outfit are a pair of boots lined with kid leather on the inside and held up by a silver clasp at the front of his legs just beneath his knees.

Background: Khanda was born into a life of wealth, luxury and refinement; the kind that can only come from an impressive pedigree of dynastic gentleman farmers, successful merchant ancestors and the inherited fruits of their labors. In the height of Wutai's golden age, Khanda's family was one of the wealthiest, owning an export empire that provided the world with the exotic bounty of Wutai's land and culture: delicate silks, enticing vintages, rich spices, dazzling works in jade and pearl, and intoxicating perfumes. The Fujiwara name was known on every continent as the finest purveyors of the quintessential orient exotics.

At least until ShinRa came along and fucked up the works.

Nearly overnight a family's wealth and fortune that had been untold-generations in the making was swept away as a mere casualty of war, suffocated by trade embargos, confiscated lands and ruined mulberry fields so precious to the country's silk production. In occupied Wutai, the Fujiwara patriarch struggled to keep a grasp on even the smallest sliver of the family's once vast estate; the single seaworthy vessel left to their once proud shipping fleet. The fortune, homes and the rest of the farmland left to them had already been lost in the exorbitant bribes to keep the powers of their homeland declaring the family ShinRa conspirators and ShinRa's military leaders from declaring the owners of Fujiwara exports to be spies deserving of a death sentence.

With their country's resistance under the weight of invasion crumbling and the economy in ruins, many within the destitute family attempted to keep body and soul together by turning to the ever-lucrative black market. An enterprise in which Khanda made a name for himself and attracted the attention of a pirate-turned-smuggler named Calypso.

The two's working relationship and shared hatred of all things ShinRa quickly led to a natural alliance or respect and friendship as Khanda quickly worked a niche for himself as a vital link in the small, but intense network of smugglers, arms-dealers and spies working against ShinRa. Though the network briefly fell apart after the crisis and the apparent death of its queenpin and destruction of the ShinRa empire, old contacts started receiving cryptic messages, orders and requests. Khanda found a new direction in his employment and a new focus to pit his efforts against.

Now a spy and contact for Calypso, Khanda enjoys immunity from NeoMidgar persecution whenever his goods come into port and an old friendship reasserted itself in the goal of toppling Sierra from power.

Limit Skills:

I:
Hugin:
Causes the targeted person to be so distracted by thoughts of anything and everything that is in their mind at that time, enough to completely forget about any enemies in front of them.
Munin:
Briefly makes the targeted person 'forget' whatever it is that they've seen in the last five minutes. The effects of the memory loss lasts for one day and then the erased memory returns.

II:
Shang-Yang:
A small bird flies over the field, scattering a light rain over Khanda and any allies with him. Healing any light injuries (or lightly healing worse ones) as well as removing any status effects.
Feng-Huang:
Enhances Khanda's speed and lifts him up off the ground, out of danger whenever any type of 'earth'-based attack is used against him.

III:
Thunderbird:
A massive bird riding on the wings of the storm, its eyes flash fire, its cry is like the crack of lightning, and its mighty wings beat with the sound of rolling thunder. This hits the enemies it's summoned against with a lightning attack of Bolt3 power, leaving the field and afflicting the enemies with a temporary deafness.
Camros:
A bird-like creature flies in and depending upon the situation will either heal Khanda or one of his allies, or if any of them are knocked out when it arrives it will awaken and heal them. Once finished with this task, it flies from the field.

IV:
Alkonost:
To use this limit, Khanda must stay perfectly still for six minutes, if he is attacked during this period of stillness the attacker will suffer a shock akin to that of bolt1, and when the time period is over a bird will come from the skies to lash at the enemies with a fury of wind whipped up by its wings. If he isn't attacked, instead of attacking the enemies, the bird will sing to them and in effect make them forget what they meant to be doing and even why they're there in the first place. This effect lasts for a day starting from the moment the bird sang.
Quetzalcoatl:
A massive column of water erupts from the 'ground', surrounded by lashing winds it soon takes on the appearance of a large watery feathered beast which attacks the enemies with a powerful water attack that has a very good chance of washing them off the field.
