Background: As the second, but favorite, son of the wealthy Nothgalea family, Ferris made the most of his childhood days by doing whatever he wanted whenever he wanted to do it. Free of the responsibility forced onto the Nothgalea heir, his older brother Marcus, Ferris was at liberty to terrorize the polite society of Junons aristocracy with only mild censure from his father. Whatever fun he found, he could always rely on his charm, quick wits, or a soft-spoken intervention on his part by his partner in crime, Riyathena Tsaleroth, to keep him from too much trouble. As Ferris grew from a prank loving child to a hotheaded youth, so too grew the magnitude of his transgressions grow as well as the growing ire of his father, who was having a harder time turning a blind eye to his beloveds sons behavior. Whenever not in Riya's company, Ferris spent his time frequenting taverns and more and more his pursuit of amusement often led to some sort of scandal involving a daughter of another wealthy house. Despite the frequent warnings from his father, Ferris continued with his playboy lifestyle right to the day he was banished to his mothers holdings in Costa Del Sol for a reputed orgy involving several of the daughters he had been forbidden to have further contact with. He was neither allowed to return to Junon nor have contact with any of his friends until he issued a public apology to both his father and the families of the involved women. Ferris, knowing his father would eventually relent and having no intention of apologizing for anything, made no effort to change his ways and merely looked on the entire situation as an extended vacation. Unfortunately, his father died before the two could be reconciled and Ferris, mourning the loss, decided to remain in Costa Del Sol and stay out of Marcus way as his older brother rose to become the patriarch of their house and take over the familys wealth. Content to live out his days in the posh resort town in the lush estate that was his inheritance from his mother, Ferris purposefully lost contact with his brother and settled to more important matters. Drinking, wenching and fighting. His ideal existence was shattered a few years later when he received word of his Marcus's death and was summarily forced to return to Junon. Upon his arrival, he found that all of the familys vast holdings, save the Junon mansion, had been auctioned to coverer Marcus outstanding debts, and the Nothgalea name had been tarnished by more than his brothers gambling and mismanagement. Marcus had been killed, like a common criminal, at the hands of a bounty hunter, a well-known fact in the city that only added insult to the injury of Ferris discovery and spurred him to seek revenge. Changing his name to Fenris Northgale, Ferris began to learn everything he could about the woman and decided to kill her himself. Determined to avenge Marcus and to purge the shameful incident from his family's image, Ferris left his comfortable life in Costa del Sol behind and turned the full of his attention to studying his quarry, gleaning every scrap of information about the woman that he could unearth. All with the sole intent of one day facing Silvara and driving his sword into her black heart. Limit Skills: I: Sirocco's Touch: Ferris sends a barage of tiny whirlwinds to spin around his enemies, either picking them up and slamming them around or causing confusion. II: Aero Guard: An invisible barrier of wind that Ferris can manipulate to shield himself (or his allies) or to immobilize his enemies. III: Wind Dance: Ferris summons twin cyclones that can be used to pick up an enemy and slam to the ground or hurl them away from the battlefield, effectively removing them from the fight. IV: Death Wind: Ferris summons a massive cyclone that causes major damage to his enemies, often hurling them high into the air and slamming them down to the ground several times before sucking them into the heart of the twister and casting them from the battleground. Belais: As the heir to the Notgalea family, Ferris inherited the power to summon the aerial demon to join him in battle. Belais will temporarily merge with Ferris, granting him invincibility and adding the demons powers to those of Belais master. Since some of his ancestors suffered disturbing side effects due to the temporary possession, Ferris avoids using this limit break. | |
