Background: Before his exposure to the plague Shu worked along side Sierra in the medical field and tutored him until Sierra went under Hojo�s wing. Up until the fall of Midgar Shu worked as a doctor for Shinra, specializing in the treatment of mako-poisoning and medical surgery. After making it through the trauma of the plague Shu returned to Sierra with the ability to control enough of the life-stream to accelerate or reverse a person�s healing ability. Within the ranks of Saints �Doc� is respected for his expertise as well as the trust held in him by Sierra. But he is also known as the disciplinarian when Sierra requires someone to learn a lesson.
