Guild Rules
Only one
of the following is a rule that we want you to follow, it’s the first
and last one on our list because we think it is that important. The rest
are not in any order of importance.
1
– Enjoy yourself, enjoy the game and have fun!
That’s an order!
2 – Help each other whenever possible!
If you have a great group we do not, however,
expect you to run across a billion zones to rez someone!
3 – Need BEFORE Greed!
Whether rolling or taking alpha turns on loot,
remember we all need plat and upgrades but if an uber Ranger piece
drops, think about group before your level 2 ranger alt =) Rolls are
FINAL! If it keeps the group happy, think about the last winner of
those slugworms sitting out on the next roll for them. No begging – I
don’t like beggars!
4 – Probation
This is the ‘get to know each other’ time – we want
you to like us and us to be happy with you! But don’t expect us to
rush out and do your epic on your first day.
5 – Epics/Quests
We want to help our guild get their epics and do
quests and get uber gear but you need to help us. Please do ALL the
research before trying to set it up. We need to know how many people,
which classes we can’t live without (apart from clerics who we always
need) and whether we need Alcohol Tolerance of 200 before dashing off
to die, err fight.
6 – In-Guild Arguments
It’s gonna happen. You are going to upset someone
during the course of play or they are going to upset you ( that’s
normally me) but we don’t want to see slagging matches in guild or
open chat. Please take some time to calm down, talk to an officer. If
you wish, we will act as mediator. Even though the phone calls cost
the earth.
7 – New Members
We want to be a GREAT guild! However, growing
too big too fast would be bad. So if you group with someone who you
think would suit us down to the ground (read insane) or expresses an
interest in Shadows of Pride, please tell an officer then direct them
to our website – www.geocities.com/shadowsofpride.
Generally, we want at least 3 guild members
including officers to group with victim/player at least 3 times to
make sure they are right for us before we offer an invite.
Realistically speaking, we do not want more than 10 new members at a
time so we can integrate them and make them at home before getting the
next batch =)
8 - Newbies
Remember the drive-by buffing people gave you when
you were new in Greater Faydark?? Try and return the favour when you
can. It will enhance your reputation and your guild’s as well.
9 – Leaving the Guild
If you must leave us (*cries*), please don’t just
quit! Inform Draeldarian or one of his many alts first. Any decent
guild will wait a few hours/days for your great char and the guild
leader deserves to know. If you must quit straight away, send
Draeldarian or his alts a tell or an email.
If you leave, then want to come back, please note
you will go back on probation, after which you will not regain any
officer or banker status and it will be a guild vote as to whether or
not you are welcomed back straight away.
But most important of all …
Have fun whether you are in our guild or just our
group!
