The owners told us some of the unusual events that have been happening. Most of the events involve 2 different radios. One of the radios is in the basement the other is in the kitchen. Both radios have been turning themselves on. In one instance the basement radio turned itself on in the middle of the night. The kitchen radio in one instance changed radio stations 3 times.

Another event involved the children receiving a cup of water mysteriously.

We started by placing the audio recorder in the basement as well as the motion detector. There was too much background noise from people walking above for the audio recorder to yield anything useful. The motion detector measured nothing. The video taken revealed nothing as well. The EMF detector measured significant amounts in the basement by the radio. The readings were in the range 5 – 25 milliguass. At this point we used the IR to sound device. This showed an object moving back and forth in front of the washer and dryer.

In the kitchen area none of the detection devices except the EMF detector showed anything unusual. The EMF reading were the same as in the basement by the radio. The stove was not on as to not throw off the EMF detector.

The other rooms of the house showed nothing unusual except that the auto focus cameras had difficulty focusing.

The radios are not remote controlled and the channel selectors are analog. I can’t easily explain why they would turn on. One reason they may turn on is if the area was highly charged, EMF readings in both areas support this theory. The high EMF readings may be a result of electrical conduits not being shielded. I can’t explain why the channel would change at all. The IR to sound detector could have been picking up drafts. We did not interview the children about the water, so I have no theory about it. In the course of our investigation I felt no cold spot.
