Synopsis of Location
Large single stone home in Montgomery County, PA. 3 Floors and full basement. Stone turret on side of house, above 3rd floor of turret was burned off in fire. Date built unknown.
Synopsis of Search Location:
Large Basement. Plaster and brick/stone construction. Large(3'x3') cement support pillar which connects the large support beams for the house. STK stated those beams are no longer possible to get because no more adult forests. This supports my belief that the house is older than 125 years. Main search area is a 1/2 moon shaped room. There are thick walls, barred window, and noticeable temperature difference in this room.
Setup of basement:
Heating pipes throughout the basement(warm to touch). Lighting interspersed throught the basement, which consisted of hanging light bulbs.
Mike Corsi Search:
Did two/three passes through the basement with my camera. Have watched the tape through and did not pick up anything as of yet on my tape. Over 15 minutes of tape on search.
Partial scan with light sources off and just flashlights did not show anything either on my tape; this was done to cut down interference to I/R detector.
Also, left camera in 1/2 moon room alone(for around 2 minutes), and nothing.
My thoughts:
I have been to the house now three times and do feel more comfortable each time. I do not fear the house or any entity that may be in the house, I even stayed down the basement for a few minutes alone and felt at ease most of the time till right before George/Steve came back down, and then I started to feel uneasy. I am not sure if it was myself making myself uneasy or if I felt something. I could not get a read on that feeling and still don't know. I know that during the investigation I felt at ease most of the time, and the only thing that disturbed me was the IR detector going wild and the temperature change in the 1/2 moon room.
Overall, I believe there is a spirit in the house, but I don't know that we have gotten anything to support that at all. My camera showed nothing as of yet, and the IR detector is still new to us. We are still learning to understand how to read what we are hearing. The IR detector going crazy can also be attributed to the heating pipes throughout the basement, eventhough the heat the pipes were putting off seemed to be negligible.
For the Future:
I believe we need to go on-site again and go through again. If we could get infared glasses it would be nice to see drafts, etc... Also I believe we should maybe leave a camera on-site overnight and see what results we get. Also maybe we could build a RF monitor(I believe that is what it is called) or buy one if they sell and if they are cheap enough. I would also love to get a history on the house, in particular the fire. Also, there does seem to be an increased battery drain. Maybe we could set up a scientific test to try and prove this. I believe at some point we really need to investigate the tower and see if we get anything. Maybe even leave a camera up there overnight.
Points:
1>I think if there is an entity it is possibly in the third floor turret room.
2>Basement scan again; increase knowledge of I/R device. Also, maybe get RF device and would love to get Infared glasses. Also need to get thermometers which we could monitor temperature changes.
3>Overnight leave the vidoe camera; one in 1/2 moon room, one in basement.
4>Some way to test baterry drain theory.
5>History of house, in particular fire would help.
6>Search of turret and overnight camera.
