FRANCIS SCARLET: Keyboards

He studied keyboard and piano as a self-taught man and with the help of some pianist friends, among them someone who studied at the academy of music.
In particular, he has devoted himself to arrangements and compositions in every groups he is playing at present.
He grown up musically listening to Italian and foreign melodic music, then he began to listen to melodic metal, appreciating in particular the neoclassical impact of the symphonic speedmetal. Actually, his way of arranging pieces of the various musical genres is considerably influenced by these types of music, which obviously branch out according to the musical genre of each particular band.
He joined the "Shadows of steel" in March 1999 and he soon shared their logic-musical ideas.
At present, he is playing with the "Shadows of Steel" as well as with other bands such as "Malombra", "Il segno del comando", "Helden Rune". He also has some soloist projects, among which those of composer and arranger of Italian light music and of creator of movies soundtracks.
