When he did, Jester left the Royal Family. Not soon after that, Jack and Ace believed that Lance would follow his father, and so they have kept Trump at arms-lengh. For this reason, Trump has wavered between staying with the Royal Family or leaving and joing the Circus of Crime. Trump is the only member whose power is derived from cybornetic implants grafted onto his skin. As a result, his suit covers his skin, protects his nerves (hence the damage reduction). This protects him from a lot of extra damage, including nerve strikes and poisons focused on hiting nerves or skin. Trump actually joined the Circus of Crime for a short period, but found that only his father trusted him. So he left and rejoined the Royal Family. King and Queen have full confidence in Lance, Jack doesn't trust him, and Ace doesn't know what to think or do. Trump doesn't know that Ace is his grandfather, and that is the way Ace wants it. He doesn't want to get involved with Trump, because Ace feels that he must kill Merry Andrew (Jester's identity in the Circus of Crime), and he knows that Trump would be opposed to that. Trump has many times been the reason that the two gangs have not attacked each other to the death. Lance feels that for these reasons, he might be able to bridge the gap between the two groups, but it is not very probable. The most the members of the groups will do is be nice to each other in their public life. Trump is the only member aside from Ace who doesn't wear medieval-type clothes. His costume is plain ivory-white. It covers everything, and has indents where his eyes, nose and mouth should be (think of Zero or Eleven, the two ivory-white androids who helped Cable and Stryfe in the X-Men). |
