Our History

Hollow Creek Farms statred out as just a dream. Rachel was a young child living on her parents breeding farm when she realized that she wanted to do this for the rest of her life. She loved the horses and every aspect of owning them. When she graduated from UGA with a veterinary liscence and Business Degree, she started to turn that dream into a reality.

Rachel had been riding and training at a local stable for extra money while she was in school. While there, she met two young women with the same idea. They became inseperable. Rachel the business end of the group, Jennipher the gutsy, head-strong, go-getter, and Brittanny the shy but thoughtful one; who could always bring a difficult situation to light. With their knowledge of the horse and business worlds, they set out to build there own breeding and training stable.

Rachel began looking for a suitable piece of land and found a gold mine in the small town Sugar Valley, Georgia. It was an old plantation with two large barns, a large plantation house, and acres of pasture and woods. With a little help from her parents, Rachel was soon signing the papers to her very own 400 acres. The girls went to work as soon as the deed was in Rachels name; they began the long road of cleaning up the property. However the hard work paid off in the end. They earned enough money, through boarding and A Rated shows and riding lessons, to build an indoor show ring and eventually a full scale equestrian center.
