HSH Quarter Horse Association

The Hobby Horse Quarter Horse Association is primarily about maintaining the quality and performance of the Quarter Horse breed. The association will hold shows for all disciplines, as the Quarter Horse is a very versitile breed. We will also accept some outside breeds for Approval to breed to, if they prove to be an asset to the breed as a whole.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
-Created Quarter Horses can be automatically registered with the Association.
-Game bred horses must have BOTH the sire and dam registered with the Association.
-The required height is 14.3HH-16.3HH. A horse may not be under, nor shall s/he exceed this height standard.
-The HSHQHA will accept any solid coloured Quarter Horse.
-The HSHQHA will accept Paint and Pinto Horses with at least 50% Quarter Horse blood.
-The HSHQHA will accept Appaloosa Horses with at least 50% Quarter Horse blood.
-To have an outside breed approved for breeding they must have one or more of the qualifications below:
-I. He or She must have Won, Shown, or Placed in more than 20 Races for their division.
-II. He or She must have placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in more than 20 Halter classes of their type. Sporthorse classes and Hunter classes do NOT count.
-III. He or She must have outstanding conformational merit.(Since HSH does not allow pictures, these will be purely random scores from 1 to 10. 10 being the highest.)
-Silver members pay 75% of fees for Shows and Events. They may serve on restricted comitees that may form in the future. They will also receive a complimentary monogrammed halter and lead, as well as a a leather halter and lead with name plate for each horse registered under this plan.
-Gold members pay 50% of fees for Shows and Events. They may serve on restricted comitees that may form in the future. They will also receive a complimentary monogrammed halter and lead, a leather halter and name plate, and a HSHQHA monogrammed stable sheet in their stable colors, for each horse registered under this plan.
-Platinum members pay 25% of fees for Shows and Events. They may serve on any comitee that may form in the future. They will also receive a complimentary monogrammed halter and lead, a leather halter and name plate, and a HSHQHA monogrammed stable sheet in their stable colors, and a HSHQHA monogrammed stable blanket, for each horse registered under this plan.
-Outside Breed members pay 75% of fees for Shows and Events They may serve on restricted comitees that may form in the future.They will also receive a complimentary monogrammed halter and lead, a leather halter with nameplate and lead, and a HSHQHA momogrammed stable sheet in their stable colors.
-If you wish to upgrade you're membership in the HSHQHA, you must pay the one time set-up fee for the class that you wish to move to.
-If you are a current member of the HSHQHA and you wish to register an outside breed, you do NOT have to pay the Outside Breed Member's fee. However, if you have an Outside Breed Membership and you wish to register a Quarter Horse, you MUST pay the set-up fee for a Regular Membership.

Silver Membership-$25.00 set-up (once per person) fee and five free horse registries.
-$20.00 per horse registered after intro.
Gold Membership-$35.00 set-up fee (once per person) and ten free horse registries.
-$25.00 per horse registered after intro.
Platinum Membership-$45.00 set-up fee (once per person) and ten free horse registries.
-$40.00 per horse registered after intro.
Outside Breed Membership-$25.00 set-up fee (once per person).
-$25.00 per horse.
