The barns are very open to allow a breeze to flow through the isle in the summer. Even though the sides of the stalls themselves are closed, they stay quite cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The walls being closed, helps prevent a chilly breeze from creeping in during the winter. It also keeps a horse from becoming hung in his stall. We keep thick shavings in the stalls as well. All of the barns contain a spacious feed room and large tack room, with a small office. The Training barn has a seperate main office as well as the tack room office. The tack rooms have 'caged' saddle racks and locked tack trunks for each horse in the barn, as well as a blanket rack. Along with these personal spaces there is plenty of shelf room for shampoos and other items, such as brushes and hoof picks. There are also two large wash stations inside the barns, with cross-ties and rubber matting. We have also installed shelves to set your bathing supplies on.
Each of the barns also contain four quarantine stalls at one end of the barn. These stalls have plexiglass on either side of the barred partitions to help block diseases from spreading. They also have their own sink with hot and cold water and a single wash rack with rubber mats.
The Broodmare barn, and the broodmare stalls in the Training barn, have 14 x 28 ft paddocks attached to every two stalls. This is to allow the pregnant mare some time outside by herself in the evenings when she is stalled. It also allows the foal to become accustomed to the outdoors for the first few days of his or her life without being to over whelmed. The paddocks are made of 2" x 6" rails, the lowest being eight inches off the ground.
The Stallion barns both have 14 ft high stall partitions and gaurds between each stall; to prevent bickering. They also include two fully equipped laboratories, for shipping cooled and frozen semen.

-HOUSING AND APARTMENTS-

Each apartment has one master bed and bath, and two spare rooms. There is also a public bathroom. The kitchen is well equiped with a gas stove and oven, along with a refrigerator and full cutlery. There is a smaller dinning room/breakfast nook fully furnished. A large common area/living room has one couch and two chairs, with an entertainment cupboard. (you bring your own system) On the front of the house is a large porch that has three rocking chairs with flowers adorning the railings. (we have a groundsman who cares for the plants.) Ther is also a garage for every house that houlds two F-350 duelly sized trucks. The folks who visit Hollow Creek Farms can also use the two, five acres ponds for fishing or swimming.
The conferance center contains one large room with tables and chairs; as well as a dinet kitchen, and 4 smaller rooms with tables and chairs. All rooms have multiple internet connections, phone lines, and a cable TV set-up. Three of the rooms are setup for online conferences, with a camera system and satalite internet hook ups.
The dining hall has a full professional kitchen to allow on-the-spot cooking for large events and gatherings of all sorts.
The gym contains an extensive colletion of weights and resistance training for all fitness levels. We also have many tred-mills and bicycles for stamina.
