Hello this is my first web page ever so please excuse the errors. I am self teaching (with Chris's help *kiss*) so it might look like hell for a little while, until I tweek it all out. *smile* I have several interests in life. One of the main ones is horses. My family owns eleven horses actually. I show in english pleasure and dressage mostly, though I am going to start seriously jumping and eventing this summer. That'll be a total trip *smile*
I am also currently participating in a SIM Horse game called
Heart Shaped Hoofprints. It is a SIM Game based mainly on the english aspect of horses but also includes some western shows and barns, not to mention Quarter Horses.
I also participate in Civil War Reenactments in the southeastern region of the country (sometimes up north for 'National' events) with my father and brother. My mom comes with us when all of the other mothers go. My dad and I started riding in the cavalry nearly five years ago. Then my brother, David, became intersted in the hobby. However, he does not enjoy riding horses as much as my father and I do, so last year we bought a cannon. It is an 1841 6lb cannon on a number 1 carraige. It kicks so much. It is AWESOME! We recently attended Thunder on The Bay; a battle near Mobile Bay, AL. My father, brother, and I, along with our cavalry captain, Jimmy and the rest of the artillery crew, went and stayed at Fort Morgan for five days. The cannon fought in both Fort Morgan and in Fort Gaines on Dauphin Island. They had 13 schooners on the water and, I don't know how many cannons. It was a very cool naval battle indeed.
