Dawn of Darkness

Gameplay: 17/30

Dawn of Darkness was quite a wierd game, it tries to make the game sound like a really dark and serious game, yet in the game, everything was pleasant and it didn't fit the title well. The gameplay was okay, the default battle system was alright in this game. The storyline was literally stupid, it had to dumbest go-along-make-it-up type of feeling. The game it self was okay however, and you can do quite a bit.

Graphics: 14/20

SOme of the graphics in DoD was pretty good, the rest however, was UGLY! Seriously, Victor is supposed to look like an tiger, and he looked like a wolf when you had to battle him, and why does when Victor does his class transform whether to werewolf, werejackal, wereboar they all looked the same to me, and don't do much difference either, pretty dumb. the chipset was well used, and deserves the most points in this game, some of the map looked pleasant some other looked like if they were put up within 30 seconds.

Sound/Music: 15/20

Music was great, lots of custom Midis, but some of them seemed out of place, even the title song was like... crap to suit the title screen graphics. Nothing much to say about sounds cuz there weren't any that were powerful enough to make me remember them.

Characters/Text/Dialogue: 17/20

Characters were portrayed okay, the different ppl had their own personalities, the text and dialogue were free of spelling errors, pretty well done.

Names/Items/Minigames/Missalanious: 8.5/10

The CBS (Or minigame?) was a bit fun, adding to the game's minigame score, names were given out okay, but mostly normal ones such as: ether, potion etc...

Overall: 71.5/100

Rating: Pretty Cool

Nightwish may not be the best game you can find, but can still keep your intrest for 2 hours. As far as most of the game was out of place, it does have bunch of things that makes the game well different from others.
