Falling Into You
One:

It all started with a paper bird, a paper bird made in a Spanish II class. Neither David not Kristin ever thought they
would end up where they did. Kristin sat agenst a tree, the blue paper bird in her hand. David stood a few feet away,
his hand on a tree, looking into the distance. His coffee eyes looked around not believing anything they saw. Kristin
tucked her feet under herself, this was not her day, and she knew she should have not worn the short skirt. She
fingered the bird, leaning her head back angst the tree.

"David, stop looking, there is no road out there, at least not a paved one."

He turned and looked at her," Well, what do you suggest we do?"

"Start being nice to each other, then try to figure out where in middle earth we are." Kristin got up and walked over to
David," We only have each other. We can't start turning on each other the minute something kind of strange happens."

He looked at her, studying her ice blue eyes," You are right I am sorry."

"Hey, at least we got the bird right?" she replied with a smile, holding up the paper.

David smiled at her then caught the bird in his hand," This thing got us here, I don't think it will get us back."

"It is beautiful her though, better then our world." A gentle breeze blew Kristin's layered, shoulder length honey colored
hair. "Are you as scared as I am?"

"Yes, I am. If this is middle earth, then there is no telling where we are or what is going on. We could be right in the
middle of the quest or in the middle of battle," he replied, touching his friend's shoulder.

"It would be cool though, to be in the quest. I mean to live it, to see it. To be a part of something that mattered, that
changed lives."

David looked at his friend," Kristin, I don't think that being part of the fellowship or part of the quest will even happen.
One of us is probably dreaming some strange dream..."

Just then three shapes ran right past them. David looked in disbelief. Kristin stood, counting to herself wondering where
the fourth was. She found herself on the ground looking into the blue eyes of Frodo Baggins. She could barely move she
so captivated by the eyes looking at her.

"Wow, this is not a dream," she whispered softly.
