| Leopard geckos can eat crickets or meal worms as a staple diet. Shadow only eats meal worms though. You can give them a wax worms every once and a while as a treat or if they need a little extra weight. If you have your leo on sand then you should put the meal worms in a dish so they don't burrow under the sand. Also you have to take out any of the food they don't eat after 2 hours becuase they can chew on the leo and cause damage. The only exeption is meal worms that are in a dish that they cant get out of. You also have to supply your leo with a shallow water dish. You have to change the water every day because it can grow bacteria. |
