Unseen Warriors

1970The only appearance of the novelette UNSEEN WARRIORS was in Worlds of Tomorrow science fiction magazine. Winter 1970, Volume 5 Number 2 Issue 25, 75 cents. Unseen Warriors has never been re-issued, and is one of the more difficult Koontz stories to locate. It is also the only Koontz story to appear in Worlds of Tomorrow. Cover by Gaughan. Story has nice illustration. Includes stories by Keith Laumer, John Jakes, W. Macfarlane and Neal Barrett Jr.

It also marks the last of several Koontz stories that appeared in F&SF, and the only one not reissued later in one form or another. Within are stories by Poul Anderson, James Tiptree Jr., Bruce McAllister, Kit Reed, Pamela Sargent and Dennis O'Neil. "Cosmic Sin" is a sequal of sorts to the earlier story "Bruno". Another adventure with Jake Ash.
